Shadaia is an associate with Kalow & Springut LLP and practices primarily in the area of patent prosecution and litigation concentrating in electrical engineering.

Shadaia earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati where she was on the Dean's List and was in the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. Shadaia holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where she was a member of the Black Law Students Association and the Mediation Clinic acting as a student mediator for small claims and private criminal complaint mediations for the City of Philadelphia. While at the University of Pennsylvania she also earned a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School of Business.
