Laura joined Kalow & Springut in 1997, and practices primarily in the areas of copyright and trademark law.

Laura has extensive experience in the prosecution of applications for trademarks and service marks and practice before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Trademark Office. Prior to joining Kalow & Springut, Laura was an Examining Attorney with the United States Trademark Office in Washington, D.C.; her primary area of expertise includes applications for medical, pharmaceutical and chemical related goods and services. She is experienced in appeals and oppositions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Laura is also a member of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.

Laura holds a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, 1989, and a Bachelor of Arts from Hofstra University, 1983.

Laura is admitted to the bar of the State of New York and the District of Columbia.
